At these difficult economic circumstances, we do a lot of thinking about our dreams and wishes, but actually making a move towards the thing we want is something else. We buy the books, write the lists, talk to people about it and always find a reason not to begin the task itself.

I have been talking to many people lately about my Reinvention workshops programs in Britain, my American friends get it, marketing a personal development or change process workshop is easy there. People are keen to make some changes, make adjustment and invest in their lives in the US, the American dreams is still in their Brains. They all want to make it happen! And I was reading Sir Richard Brandson Biography, what sticks out most is how he reinvented himself several times, from being quiet, inarticulate, shy to one of the richest Man in Britain with his famous brand Virgin!

I also read the biography of Hugh Helner, he also reinvented himself from being unsociable, reserved and detached (both from high school and later professionally) to “Mr Playboy” and one of the first magazine editors to use celebrities to help expand its brand and gain visibility. In high school, Hugh Hefner went from being awkward and unpopular to, in his own words, “the imaginary adolescent, the teenager I wanted to be”:

I experienced reinvention myself too believe it or not, I went from being timid, shy, reserved person to being confident, energized and passionate, mainly created a purpose for my life and Britain has played a major role into it, I learnt the culture, the mentality and the system. Furthermore I learnt to monitor my thoughts and use self observation as a tool to success.

It takes a great courage and determination to look and turn our thoughts into goals and our goals into action. However you make your resolution, it’s important to have faith in a positive outcome, make sure your goal is big enough to inspire you and challenge you and finally create a vision board that captures the essence of what you want to achieve.

Right now, it may be more important than ever to reinvent yourself. What do you need to become? How do you see your Future?
